Programmes Overview
We offer retail certification programmes to meet the needs of the retail industry. Our programmes can be offered as public programmes, in-house programmes or tailor-made programmes. For in-house and tailor-made programmes, the Certification will also carry the organisation’s name.
Our past and continuing clients include AEON (M) Sdn Bhd, PERNAMA, Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad, ALPRO Pharmacy, Yayasan Pahang and MCH Sdn Bhd. Public programmes commence twice yearly in March and July.
Executive Diploma in Retail Management (EDiRM)
EDiRM is a programme offered to meet the needs of the retail industry. It is a flexible modular program and candidates will be awarded with certificate of achievement after successfully completing each module leading to the Executive Diploma Certification.
Our Executive Diploma requires 210 contact hours and each Certificate on its own requires 84 contact hours. Each module takes one (1) month to complete and each certificate (Certificate in Store Operations, Certificate in Retail Merchandising, Certificate in Retail Finance, and Certificate in Retail Strategy) takes two (2) months to complete. Overall, EDiRM takes five (5) months to complete.
This programme is a jointly taught by UiTM and Akademi Peruncitan PERNAMA.

Module 3: Retail Merchandising
Module 4: Retail Finance
Module 5: Retail Strategy

Certificate in Retail Management for Suppliers (CiRMS)
CiRMS is a programme designed to enhance the good relationship between suppliers and retailers for the betterment of both channel partners. Niched as a programme for retail suppliers, it provides the participants with contemporary retail business practices to enhance pertinent knowledge of their roles and functions in value creation and retail competitiveness.
CiRMS requires 84 contact hours and it takes two (2) months to complete.
This programme is a jointly taught by UiTM and Akademi Peruncitan PERNAMA.

Programme Certification
For organisations which are currently running In-House or tailored retail training programmes, we offer our service to audit your programme, your syllabus, facilities, in class delivery, assessment methodology and assessment scripts/documents.
We could also lend our expertise in topics that need further enhancement. Retail research could be one of the examples.
