The International Seminar and Collaboration on Hospitality and Retail Management marks a significant partnership between the Institute of Business Excellence (IBE) and the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Manila Campus. This collaboration aims to propel research initiatives, specifically focusing on the industrial advancements within Malaysia and the Philippines—two dynamic ASEAN developing nations. The research project aspires to unravel comprehensive insights into the progress of the hospitality and retail sectors in these countries, shedding light on trends, challenges, and opportunities. By fostering such collaborative endeavors, both institutions contribute to the global discourse on economic development, sharing knowledge and fostering a deeper understanding of the intricacies of the hospitality and retail industries within the context of the ASEAN region.
